I LOVE to move!! Whether it's dancing, running, hiking, yoga, weight lifting, biking, anything that connects the mind, body, and spirit and pushes me to my limit!

 

As a choreographer, I specialize in dance for educational programs and competitive dance teams. My style is prescision-based, HIGH-ENERGY movement with a theatrical flaire. I spent five years on the SRCS All-Star Dance Team based out of Sykesville, MD. During that time, my teammates and I won multiple State and National titles, performed at the Halftime of the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, FL, and were featured in the music video for Baltimore's punk rock band Plunge. My favorite styles are jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre. For four years, I was the Resident Choreographer at The Brearley and Chapin Schools After-School Clubhouse Program on New York's Upper East Side. I also choreographed and coached competitive Jazz and Musical Theatre dance teams for Shooting Stars Dance Company in NYC. Other choreography credits include Theatre Arts Center NYC, Up Theatre Company, Hofstra University Dept. of Drama and Dance, Spectrum Players, Broadway Bound Kids, SRCS Dance Team, and California Repertory Company in Long Beach, CA.

 

In the summer of 2019, I served as a teaching assistant for the Dynamic Partnering course at CSU Summer Arts  in Fresno, California.  The course focused on non-traditional partnering, creative acrobatics and ensemble Improvisation. Our collaborative work culminated in a public performance at CSU Fresno's John Wright Theatre.
